They don't have a menu, you tell your bartender what kind of spirits and flavors you like and they will create a cocktail For you. I've been here a few times and each time it's a treat!

Wow- very cool and unique bar! I visited on a Friday night with a group of 4 and we waited in line to knock on the door. The doorman then took our name and said it would be about an hour and a half wait. We went to another bar down the street and then it was time for us to go back to Attaboy. It is super dimly lit inside and has curtains with little dining areas, booths, and a bar. I don't think there were any windows at all. I have never been to a bar like this before! Our server was great and explained that we tell him what flavors we like (or dislike) and he will bring us a cocktail specially made for each of us. My cocktail had mezcal, tequila, grapefruit, lemon, and something else. It was smoky yet refreshing. I loved it! Spot on. Each of our drinks were so unique! 5 star experience. I would definitely go here again.

The COOLEST speakeasy ever! Getting in takes a bit of time so be sure to get there a little earlier to put your name down. The concept is very unique in that there is no menu: each person gets a custom drink based on their palate preferences. The ambiance is also very intimate with individual seating areas and limited booths in the building. Be sure to check out this hidden gem on the east side!

I love cocktails, and I love bars. Because of these interests of mine, I have been able to make many friends that have served me countless cocktails over the years. So when some of my favorite bartenders back home in Miami told me to go to Attaboy, it was definitely on my radar. I am so thankful my coworker decided to celebrate her big event by bringing us here, it was absolutely fabulous. If you haven't heard of Attaboy, this bar is quite influential in the cocktail world. Hailing from New York, this bar created some of the most popular classic cocktails we know today. In fact, the New York Attaboy has held the title of Best Bar in North America by several publications. This won't be your regular Nashville experience, but it is an experience you should surely make time for if you are in the area and love cocktails. OK so this is a small bar, and you will have to wait. You knock on the door, and then someone comes out and gets your name and party size. You will likely have to wait, but it's worth it. We waited for about 30 minutes at a nearby bar and got a text when our table for 4 was ready. I love the fact that there is no menu at Attaboy. There is a knowledgable team of amazing bartenders who will create something based on your tastes. Our bartender came to our table and asked every person the flavors and spirits you typically like in a cocktail. Then, a few minutes later your magical custom cocktail appears. I got a riff on a negroni with some kind of amaro that was amazing. My colleagues got riffs on mezcal margs and other delightful things. I loved this spot so much I just had to have a martini there as well. They made me the most fantastic, ice cold gibson. Put yourself on the list and enjoy a drink or two. This place is great.

This bar is like stumbling into a portal that drops you in the middle of NYC, but you're still in Nashville--minus the honking taxis and $2,000 shoebox apartments. They've got the kind of hip décor that looks like a set from a movie where the main character has their life figured out. The cocktails? Oh, they're dangerously good. These bartenders are like cocktail wizards--they'll whip up a drink that's both simple and elegant, yet packs a punch you won't see coming. Honestly, it's my favorite bar in the city because it makes me forget I'm not dodging tourists in Times Square. You walk in, and suddenly you're cool enough to know what vermouth actually is. If Nashville had its own slice of the Big Apple, this place is it.

Attaboy was recommended to us as the perfect spot for a nightcap after dinner in the area, and boy did it not disappoint. The atmosphere is laid-back yet stylish, making it an ideal place to wind down the evening. Highly recommend to wait around for a reservation at the bars near by just to try these cocktails. The drinks were outstanding--crafted to perfection with attention to detail and creativity. The bartenders really know their stuff, customizing cocktails based on your preferences. It's a hidden gem that you might not stumble upon without a recommendation.

One of the best Cocktail Lounges in Nashville. The custom made drinks here are delicious and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The seating is limited here, so you stand outside the door until they have a seat for you. Only then will they let you into the lounge. There are no drink menus here. You simply describe the type of drink you want and the fantastic bartenders will make it for you. They do a great job. I enjoyed a Preakness cocktail with Rittenhouse Rye neat. The Preakness is a variation of a Manhattan. It was delicious. I also enjoyed a perfectly made Vieux Carre. The time spent at Attaboy was really enjoyable. This place is a must try if you're in East Nashville. I can't wait to return.

Coolest hole in the wall that I never anticipated stumbling into, but I'm oh so grateful I did! Shoutout to the folks at Crema that listed this as one of their favorite bars. The moody lighting, limited seating, and intimate design aesthetic makes it feel like a speakeasy. The bartender we worked with was incredible and nailed my perfect beverage with their "crimes of passion"!
